On Saturday, April 14th, students from Cumberland County Technical Education Center (CCTEC) were awarded 30 medals at the 2018 NJ SkillsUSA Championships Awards Ceremony.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry professionals working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.  Students are provided the opportunity to showcase their career and technical skills during SkillsUSA competitions.  Top performers qualified for the national competition in June. 

CCTEC students were awarded medals for their accomplishments in the following categories: gold medals in Broadcast Production, Mobile Robotics, and Welded Sculpture; silver medals in Chapter Display, Motorcycle Repair, Ornamental Iron Design, Radio Production, T-shirt Design, Team Fabrication Welding, and Welding; Bronze medals in Criminal Justice Quiz Bowl, Cosmetology Knowledge Bowl, Finish Carpentry, and Plywood Challenge.
