BLUE RIBBON CAMPAIGN
The Bridgeton Exchange Club has partnered with CCTEC’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality program during the month of April to offer scholarship opportunities for graduating culinary arts students and to raise awareness of child abuse. Culinary instructors Robert Ohlsen and Michael Aliberti, along with Culinary Arts and Hospitality students, generated $1,136.40 in cookie sales. The proceeds will go towards the The Exchange Club of Bridgeton & The Blue Ribbon Campaign.
This contribution was made in honor of Gina Pierce, who was a 2005 graduate of Cumberland County Technical Education Center’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality program. She was also recognized as the Distinguished Alumni of the Year in 2014. During her time with the Bridgeton Exchange Club, Gina worked tirelessly to raise awareness of child abuse. Mrs. Pierce’s granddaughters were present at CCTEC to accept the contribution on behalf of the Bridgeton Exchange Club.
