On Saturday, February 2nd, Cumberland County Technical Education Center welcomed 500 student competitors from across the state for the 2019 South Jersey Regional HOSA* Competition.

Students were given the opportunity to showcase their professional and technical skills during the day’s 25 competitions.  These competitions included areas within health professions, emergency preparedness, leadership, health sciences and teamwork. A variety of students qualified to advance to additional state and national competitions.

*HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
